Olga Sogonova, 31, Viktoriya Sogonova and Vladimir Sogonov of Vinnitsa, Ukraine were another family who were helped by Call to Care. Olga’s husband, Sergey, was preparing to take his family to Israel when he was tragically killed in a motor accident. The family had experienced a lot of tension due to anti-Semitism and saw Aliyah as a way to provide a more rewarding future for their children.
Olga faced the financial and emotional challenges resulting from her husband’s death but found it almost impossible to cope. Aliyah became a distant dream until Call to Care offered support to get the necessary documentation and emergency funds to make it possible.
