June Update

It happens quite often that your marriage collapses after many years of living together, and you are not quite young, needing to raise a growing up child properly, but on your own. But it happens not so often that you meet a new true love and create a new happy family. Two children are born into this new family, while two elder children born in previous marriages receive a hope for a new happy future.

This is what happened to Vladislav and Natalya seven years ago. They were very happy with all their children, they had plans for the future. Vladislav had a business of his own, but this business collapsed due to the pandemic and the general downfall of Ukrainian economy. It is absolutely unlikely that Vladislav will manage to revive his enterprise. But he wants to save his family and the happiness he received as a second chance. He wants to take his family away from the threat of a possible new round of war with Russia. 

The only way he has as a Jew is to repatriate to Israel. He will have to start from scratch because he has no friends or relatives in Israel. He has but a very strong desire to be happy and provide his big family with everything they may need. He believes very firmly in the support his historical homeland will give him.

Inna’s husband died when she was quite young. She raised her son all by herself. Her son left for Israel with his wife a year ago. Inna decided to hold off for a while and regretted this decision very much. This year she suffered a complicated for of COVID-19. She spent 2 weeks in hospital, needing oxygen due to severe pneumonia. The disease ended with severe complications on her musculoskeletal system. Inna has already spent all her savings because insurance medicine is almost unavailable in Ukraine.   

Having overcome the disease, Inna realized that she would hardly be able to survive in Ukraine all alone. Her son offered joining him in Israel. So Inna decided to accept this offer. She wants to recover fully in the country that provides much better healthcare services. Inna also has fears that the war with Russia will erupt with full force in a short while.
