OLIM FROM VINNYTSYA HAVE REACHED MOLDOVA SAFELY!
Today, Aliyah is the most challenging. People have to get to Israel through the heat of war – which not only threatens their lives, it also tears their families apart.
These three families from Vinnytsya left for Israel without their men because of the war, as men aged 18-60 cannot leave Ukraine. These brave women have not only reached Moldova with their children, but also sent us several pictures that give an idea of how incredibly hard it is for Jewish people to reach their homeland right now. Before their departure, they received financial support from you and were able to have money with them because the future is unknown.
When our Olim left Vinnytsya by bus sponsored by a charity, they were very fearful of being hit. Fortunately they reached Moldova safely and were accommodated in a special hub for Olim.
They then travelled to Moldova because the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine is no longer operating because of the war and there are no flights or sea routes to Israel. In Moldova, our Olim will pass all the checks in the local Israeli Embassy and then take free flights to Israel as repatriates. This is what the long and thorny path to the Promised Land looks like right now.
MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE MADE THIS POSSIBLE – IT IS APPRECIATED!
