November Update

Once again you have faithfully supported Olim who have been trapped in the warzone of Kherson, Ukraine. This month, 9 people were helped to leave the warzone behind and continue on their way to Israel. They were not expecting such timeous help and were overjoyed when it arrived. The group incudes four children who have witnessed events no child should ever have to see. At least the worst is behind them and your support has created a crossing ‘through the Jordan into the Promised Land.’ Please forgive us for this general report. Our main representative, Tatiana, has operated under the most trying conditions; Frequent missile attacks, air raid sirens and power outages. Internet availability is intermittent so contact with applicants and the bank are far more difficult than before. She apologised to us for the delays and sent us a general report instead of the usual details and personal stories. We are so grateful to her for risking her life to go to the bank and meet with Olim, even when there is an ever- present risk of another missile attack.
