On Hanukkah days, we want to talk about miracles and we want to believe in these Hanukkah miracles. And these miracles really happen! The most important miracle is that literally on the eve of Hanukkah, Aliyah from Ukraine resumed. In mid-November, flights for olim from Chisinau to Tel Aviv resumed. There have already been 4 flights: November 16, 23, 30 and December 7. And these flights for olim will now be weekly! At the same time, the consular service of the Israeli Embassy in Moldova resumed its work. This means that olim in it can receive a visa with the right to repatriate. Unfortunately, the consular service at the Israeli Embassy in Kyiv still does not work. This makes it very difficult for olim to prepare the necessary documents for repatriation and obtain the right to repatriate.

Olim need to prepare all documents incredibly carefully before leaving Ukraine. If it suddenly turns out that olim need some additional document to confirm their right to repatriation and obtain a visa, olim will need to return to Ukraine  for this document. But the Israeli Embassy in Kyiv promises to soon resume the work of its consular service. The war in Ukraine and Israel creates its own difficulties for the olim, but they are ready to overcome them in order to leave for Israel, because life in Ukraine is absolutely hopeless.

Another Hanukkah miracle for our olim was your help. These were real Hanukkah gifts, which during the war are perceived as a real MIRACLE! Thank you and your donors for this Hanukkah miracle!
