Thank you very much for your help. For our olim, it is like a ray of hope in impenetrable darkness. All of them are now on the verge of despair, they are all under severe stress. Especially residents of Kharkov, the largest city in Ukraine. Before the war there were over 2 million people, and now there are much less than 1 million and the population of Kharkov is catastrophically decreasing every day. Kharkov still does not have a stable supply of electricity, water, or the Internet. Transport there is also unstable, many houses are destroyed and not subject to restoration.

That is why in our report 7 out of 8 people are from Kharkov. Residents of Kharkov really hoped that Putin would not attack Kharkov for many reasons. We all also hope that the war will end soon, but our hopes are, unfortunately, becoming unrealistic.

In two families, Shveider and Polishchuk, the sons fight at the front, and Elena Sakhnovich’s husband also fights. They were all waiting for the end of the war to make Aliyah together. Now they are forced to leave for Israel without their relatives, because Kharkov in winter can become a grave for our olim.

Therefore, you understand how important your help is to our olim.
Thanks a lot.
With love,

Igor, Tatiana
