August Update

This time we helped 4 families who experienced the loss of their homes and, unfortunately, did not receive any support from the Ukrainian government. The housing of the Vurgaft and Roidman families was destroyed at the beginning of the war during the advance of Russian troops. Both families moved from the occupied territories to Zaporozhye in the hope of receiving at least some housing. But apart from food humanitarian rations, they received nothing. Both families have relatives in Israel, they are waiting for them. The Vurgaft family is leaving for Israel in full force, because Vadim is disabled. The Roidman family cannot leave as a whole, because Anna’s husband will not be allowed across the border (he works at a steel plant and has a reservation from the army, but cannot leave Ukraine). The Shlisser and Babchuk families also lost their homes during the shelling of Kharkov. The situation is similar. They are also awaited by relatives in Israel. All four families are planning to leave for Israel in September, when Iran and Hezbollah reduce the level of threats towards Israel and the situation around Israel becomes calmer.
