March Update

Message from the charity, People Who Care in the Ukraine:
“Thank you again for the money. We can never thank you enough – olim need help so desperately now, almost more than ever.” 

They want to leave as soon as possible. Ukraine is facing another wave of COVID, some people were diagnosed with that new, more aggressive type that had seized the UK earlier. At the same time, vaccination goes very slowly; it is available to high-risk groups only, not to just anyone who wants it. In Israel, at the same time, the vaccination campaign seems to have worked well already, around 5 million people are vaccinated so far, and the country is much safer than Ukraine right now. 

We are so happy that several families with their lovely children have received your help. We are so grateful on their behalf! They will finally reach their safe haven where they will be protected from the pandemic, hardships of unemployment, poverty and hopelessness.
