April Update

This time we had a special delight of giving help to eight families with children! A further two elderly couples, who need health care have been helped and will definitely receive all the services they require in Israel. Enormous thanks to all those who donated for the benefit of poor Jewish people from Ukraine! All these families have a common problem: they have lost their jobs or their business. There are several reasons for this situation. The first one is the dramatic downfall of Ukrainian economics. The second reason is the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has aggravated the economic collapse and left people with no chance of having another job within the nearest years.

Thank the Lord, our olim have a chance of leaving for Israel where vaccination of the nation is nearing its end, and the country is returning to a normal life. This means that olim will have jobs in Israel, their children will be safe and all their needs will be satisfied.

Your help has quickened the departure of these families. The Peltz family has already left for Israel (their picture was taken at the airport), and the rest of the olim who received help this time will be in Israel in May. We are so grateful for this help on behalf of our olim!
