BAKHMUT – THE BATTLE CONTINUES …
A huge thank you from all the olim who were able to get your help. You helped them in the most difficult life situation, when death was chasing them on their heels. They have lost their homes, their past life is crossed out. Your help brought them closer to a new life, gave them a chance for hope. All 9 olim from Bakhmut, which now has a real meat grinder. But 2 families out of all are special.
The wife of SEMYON DUDNIK died in Bakhmut during the bombing. Semyon could not even bury her properly due to the incessant shelling. Now his cherished dream is to return to Bakhmut after the war and bury his wife in the proper way.
The ShTEIN family was hiding from the shelling in the old terrible basement (you can see them on a photo in this terrible basement). In this basement, their seven-year-old son DANIEL was shot in the head. On separate pictures you can see DANIEL himself and the consequences of the wound on his head.
